Pizazz displays its support at the Red Awards 2010.

Pizazz is proud of our continuing involvement with the New Zealand Retail Interiors Association (NZRIA) and through it, The Red Awards. The NZRIA offers a forum for exchanging ideas, and engaging shopfitters, suppliers and designers. And the Awards means a chance to share and recognise the world-class work that goes on each year in our industry, and generate invaluable publicity for winners.
Not to mention the perfect excuse for a knees up.

As part of our ongoing suport of the association, each year we sponsor an award for excellence in Graphics & Display. The winner in 2010 was Redesign Interior Architecture who created an innovative design for Odessy India. Odessy is one of the largest retail store chains in India, and Redesign was asked to provide a design for separate concept stores offering luxury pens and eyewear. These stores are branded "Editions". Redesign created a bright and dynamic store design compared to the surrounding tenancies, and thoroughly deserved to win the Graphics & Display Award.

We firmly believe that sponsorship helps to nurture a stronger industry, benefiting designers, craftspeople, suppliers, and clients alike. Aside from sponsorship, we support our retail and commercial clients by ensuring they have access to the latest graphic display systems and ongoing service.

Though New Zealand’s retail sector is comparatively small, its excellence of design and application offers a consumer experience that would not be out of place in the cities of North America or Europe: a fact demonstrated by the high calibre of award entrants.

In addition to our sponsorship at home, Pizazz has also been at large in the U.S. recently. Innovative new display design seen at GlobalShop 2010 – the global retail trade show held in las Vegas this March – has inspired us to create some fresh ideas for New Zealand retailers.
